From Script to Approval: Our Pitch Moment

We approached Sir Zia after class once we had finished writing our script. It included detailed dialogues, scene-by-scene shots, and even a set list—we wanted him to have a clear visual of what we were aiming for, especially since he always emphasizes how important execution is. Confidently (and maybe a little nervously), I handed him my phone with the Google Doc open, packed with all this carefully thought-out information.

After about 10 seconds of scrolling, he sighed and gently gave up—telling us to just send it to him on WhatsApp so he could read it peacefully at home. Slightly panicked but laughing through it, we agreed and promised to send it later. Thankfully, he got back to us soon after, approved the script, and gave us the go-ahead—so we excitedly kicked off our pre-production process.
