Media and I: The journey 

Hi! I’m Filza Tariq, a lively blend of Ghibli movie magic and an A-level student, adorned in colorful button-down shirts and jeans, and my ever-present black hijab. Though many see me as an extrovert, I’m truly an introvert at heart who would prefer to be cozied up in her room, rewatching her favorite A24 films. Despite my introverted nature, I've developed a knack for interacting with people, a skill now deeply woven into my personality. Thus, if you approach me to take an extensive dive into the intricacies of "La La Land" or to dissect the visual style of Fantastic Mr. Fox, you would wish I stop :>

 

​You might think my love for film and media would steer me toward a career in the arts, but let me surprise you: I’m a business studies student with dreams of launching my own enterprise by the end of A levels. My journey began with a zest for photography in sixth grade, and that hobby has evolved into my passion for integrating media and business. My ultimate goal is to develop my future business with a unique aesthetic while learning fascinating videography, and editing skills later blending them in with my entrepreneurial spirit.
