Behind the Door: Our Logline

Haseeb, a young man, delivers food to his mysterious neighbor

Rian—who lives alone in an eerie, decaying house. Haseeb unknowingly

walks into something much darker than he expected. Rian’s cold smile,

pale face, and unsettling silence seem strange enough, but it’s what’s

lurking behind him that chills Haseeb to the core. As the evening

unfolds, the house reveals its secrets: four shadowy figures, standing

silently in black burqas, watching.

Everyone in the neighborhood has questions about Rian. He claims to

live with his parents, yet no one has ever seen them. One by one, those

who enter his home seem to vanish without a trace and now it’s Haseeb

who’s missing.

Our film opening “پارسی" explores the paranoia that hides behind

friendly doors, the fear of the unknown living next to us, and the

horrifying realisation that monsters sometimes wear the most human

faces.
