Give back to the community, one survey at a time ;0

A significant part of our research was conducting a survey to not only understand our demographic more but also to acquire qualitative and quantitative results that could help us analyse in a rounded way. I used Google Form to make the survey as it's what I'm most familiar with.

To come up with the questions, I looked at previous surveys and noted down the most common ones. Since many of them overlapped, I selected the questions that were different and included those in my survey. The total number of questions came to around 11, with the last one asking participants to give an example of their favourite film opening and explain why it is their favourite.

Although this question was not always included in other surveys and could result in fewer responses, since short answer questions can be time consuming and may discourage people from completing the survey, I chose to include it. This is because I wanted to understand what specifically attracts audiences, beyond my own bias towards cinematography ;>

To gather responses, I asked my friends to spread the word through WhatsApp, where I sent everyone the link to the survey. Furthermore, some friends also shared it on their social media accounts, such as Instagram.

Future Filza edit: The title photo was changed from the old filming picture to a new horizontal one, as it includes both Aisha and me filming for our A2 portfolio.
